Homeless man sues Eminem for $9 million
Eminem is being sued for $9 million by a homeless man who claims he gave the rapper the idea for his car commercial.
Stephen Lee Pieck, who lists his address as "homeless", claims he was having dinner with Christina Aguilera and her then husband Jordan Bratman in 2010. Xtina apparently called Eminem during the dinner (which would be extremely bad manners) and handed the phone to Pieck who then give Eminem the idea for the Born On Fire commercial for car company Chysler.
The lawsuit was filed at the United States District Court in the Southern District of New York. In the legal documents, Piek says: "I want the court to reward me a judgment in the amount of $9 million. I designed every aspect of the commercial and the commercial was stolen from me. In addition, I did not receive compensation in monetary terms for the work I did."
