"We're weird and we're sloppy" said frontman Wayne Coyne (pictured) recently, describing the band's early plan to "make some fantastical, unbelievable, drug-induced, horrible, wonderful thing". The end result is a very idiosyncratic variety of psychedelic, cosmic indie pop with lyrical themes that range from the true story of drummer Steven Drozd nearly losing his arm after a spider bite to the imaginary invasion of evil pink robots. Make of that what you will.
