The Knife
Offbeat Swedish duo The Knife have always been shy of media and live appearances, in recent years cultivating a self-conscious weirdness which has set them apart from their peers. Twisting electro-pop and techno into ear-bending territories with pitch-bent, androgynous vocals and quirky synth melodies, they're probably best known for the altogether different cover of Heartbeats performed by acoustic crooner Jose Gonzalez.
