Kisses On The Bottom
If you had a bike, bought some new wheels, then changed the frame and pedals, then swapped the saddle for a different one, would you still own the same bike? This is the situation facing followers of Britain's third most popular girl group of all time. The Sugababes now contain precisely zero members from their original line-up, a situation unprecedented even in the world of heavy metal where multiple band changes are standard from album to album.
Now Keisha-free but with newly-added Jade, the Sugababes have completely lost all vocal character and personality. Stand out tracks Get Sexy and Wear My Kiss are great but trimmed of their former member's vocals could be by absolutely anyone. Which perhaps is the point. Auto-tuned to near death by US producers RedOne and Ryan Tedder the three surviving girls could easily be replaced by a couple of teapots and a cat.
