
James have prospered and evolved throughout a changing music scene, from their early EPs for a youthful Factory Records to becoming a pivotal part of the Eighties indie scene and early Nineties Manc-centric baggy scene. Even as bands like Oasis and Blur began the Britpop invasion of the charts, James remained of British music.
The band ended on a high in 2001, but now they are back - still fresh as a daisy and appearing at V Festival.
