The 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney will go down as one of the greatest ever in terms of the setting, organisation, hospitality and action. All this ended with a hilarious closing ceremony which included gay icon Kylie Minogue being carried on a giant thong by butch life-savers, model Elle McPherson perched on a giant camera, Paul Hogan as Mick Dundee on a giant hat and Greg Norman hitting golf balls into the crowd off a mechanical Great White Shark!
