The Bellagio is one of the top Vegas hotels
Our recommendations:
Budget - The Main Street station hotel and casino. The lack of a pool is more than made up for by it's Victorian charm and quality. Located downtown near the Plaza so it's a taxi to the strip but it's easy enough to while away hours in the hotel's own casino.
Bargain - The Tropicana, just across from the MGM Grand. A tidy hotel with a pool in a great location (go for the far superior rooms in the Towers).
Mid Range - The Holiday Inn Express is about 15 minutes from the strip, keeping you close enough to get involved when you want to but providing welcome relief from the neon at the end of the day.
Luxury - If you want splash the cash then why not go for the Bellagio. It's one of THE landmark hotels and casinos in Vegas and for years set the standard for comfort and service. Its fountain show that runs every 15 minutes at peak times is a must see even if you don't stay here.
Luxury plus - To really sample the high-roller lifestyle you can go one better still... The Wynn, created by Las Vegas tycoon Steve Wynn, which brings a new level of quality and entertainment to town. With original Monet and Picasso on the walls, some of the best shopping in Vegas and it's own 18 hole golf course all on site, this is a resort with a real wow factor.
