In his heyday, George Best was arguably the most skilful player in the world, turning defenders inside and out so often that he was referred to leaving them with ‘twisted blood’. There was nothing Georgie couldn’t do with the ball but then again, there seems to be nothing Cristiano can’t do with the ball and he probably has the edge in pace.
