It's been a long and at times frustrating wait, but at last Anthony Davidson has a full-time F1 drive - and he has every chance of making a real impact this year.
His years of testing with Honda - as well as the odd GP with Minardi and BAR - have given him a good feel for F1, and the Super Aguri team really seem to be on the verge of a real breakthrough into the points-scoring placings.
He and team-mate Sato look like they can work well together, and it should be a good competitive battle within the team which can only help Anthony.
He ought to show well in qualifying, and his race performances should lay the foundations for a real career in F1 and perhaps a move to a stronger team.
