Nico certainly has the pedigree, as son of 1982 world champion Keke, and wasted no time in reaching F1 at just 20 (his father was 30 before he debuted in F1!) after winning the GP2 title in 2005.
However, his first season in Formula One was a difficult one for the young German, largely due to Williams' failures rather than his own.
Although Rosberg scored points in his very first grand prix and even finished the race with the fastest lap time, the rest of the season was a struggle.
Better results should follow in 2007, with an extra year's experience and Williams sure to improve at last.
