Aguri Suzuki's team looks like being one of the surprise packages of the year in its second season in Formula 1, and despite a dodgy start with the car (essentially last year's Honda) failing FIA safety tests, are looking for a midfield finish this season.
In Takuma Sato and Anthony Davidson, they have two drivers each with points to prove - one cast aside by parent company Honda, the other aching for a break in GP racing after years spent doing testing.
The early races have shown mid-grid qualifying positions, often higher than the works Honda cars, though it's hard to see how they will develop an already outdated car over the course of the season.
The determination and genuine speed of the drivers, allied withe work ethic of the team, should however lead Super Aguri to their first point finishes and get closer to the likes of Red Bull and Williams than to rivals Spyker and Toro Rosso.
