2007 could be a real make or break year for the Toyota team, now into its sixth year in Formula 1 and as far away as ever from a first race win despite a budget higher than almost everyone else.
The fourth place finish of 2005 looks like a distant memory now, and their season opened in turmoil when team principal Tsutomu Tomita was axed after one false dawn too many.
Both drivers are wise old heads by F1 standards, and though they are both capable of strong races and (especially Trulli) blistering qualifying laps, it's probable that they are both past their best days.
While they are likely to be effective midfield runners, this is going to be another season of treadin water at Toyota.
