How the highlights should look
If you are experiencing problems with our FREE match highlights video then please read the following instructions. In the majority of cases, these simple changes will enable you to see our video correctly.
Windows Media Player Upgrades.
The match highlights may not play for you because our Windows Media Player(WMP) is embedded into our pages and therefore is not able to automatically upgrade itself with the latest Microsoft upgrades and patches. Click on the following link and the automatic Windows Media update process will begin.
Click OK to any prompts and your WMP should now be updated. Open up a new web browser and the match highlights video should now play correctly. If you continue to have problems, follow the advice below:
As part of our rights agreement we apply Digital Rights Management (DRM) software to the videos to prevent unauthorised copying and file sharing. First, you should double check that your version of Windows Media Player (WMP) is correctly configured to do this:
Configure Windows Media Player to obtain licenses automatically
Click the Access application menus on the title bar next to the Minimize button, point to Tools, and then click Options.
Click the Privacy tab
In the Enhanced Playback and Device Experience area, ensure there is a tick in the Acquire licenses automatically for protected content check box, as shown in the screen shot

Upgrade Windows Media Player and/or Internet Explorer (IE):
If configuring Windows Media Player doesn't work, it may be the combination of software you are using. DRM software works best with the most up-to-date versions of Windows Media Player (WMP) and Internet Explorer (IE). The next step is to try upgrading these.
You can upgrade to Windows Media Player 11 here*
You can upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer here
* Please note: upgrading to WMP11 means you will also need to upgrade to Windows XP Service Pack 3 if you haven't already done so.
(You can check which Windows XP revision you have by right clicking the My Computer icon on your decktop and selecting properties.)
Video quality problems
If you can access videos without problems but then experience problems with the quality of the playback then the Microsoft help centre can provide advice on configuring your system settings to obtain the best experience that your computer can provide.
If you are still having problems try our video help FAQs section for more advice.
