We've teamed up with Star Clippers to send one very lucky reader and a friend on a once-in-a-lifetime sailing cruise around Italy, departing from the port of Rome.
You'll get to explore some of Italy's most impressive sights. The ship will call in at sunny Sicily and the volcanic Aeolian Islands and cruise along the incredibly scenic Amalfi Coast. Prepare to step back in time, on a romantic adventure that will take you to ancient Roman ruins, picturesque ports and myth-inspiring islands. Bring a camera to snap the changing landscapes you'll see each day, packed with cypresses, olive groves and hilltop villages.
You'll be travelling on Royal Clipper, the largest and only five-masted sailing ship built in over a century. Don't let the sails fool you - the vessel has state-of-the-art vessel amenities, combining the traditions of the past with a modern luxury experience.
Guests enjoy a relaxed, pampered atmosphere and international cuisine, as they're served by a friendly and attentive crew. Boating enthusiasts can choose to lend a hand hoisting the sails and climbing the mast, or simply sit back and let the crew do all the work!
On board you'll find no fewer than three swimming pools, the Captain Nemo Lounge with spa, health club and underwater glass port-holes and lots of hammocks for chilling on deck. There's a range of accommodation including two 33 square-metre Owner's Suites, each with space for four people, and 14 deluxe suites with private veranda, whirlpool bath and 24-hour service.
