A traditional (mobile) tented safari involves a travelling camp and is relatively comfortable (but isn't to be confused with traditional camping). The camp is set up for you and at the high-end, even hot showers and gourmet cuisine are laid on. This way you get to access more remote parts of the reserve.
Alternatively, you can choose to stay in a lodge - ranging from budget to luxury - returning there after your game drives. For the adventurous, a walking safari is another option; take good hiking boots and lots of insect repellent.
