According to a poll of all 2,400 living British Olympians taken last year, rower Sir Steve Redgrave is the greatest of all time. And you can see why: the man achieved the near-miraculous feat of winning five gold medals in five consecutive games, all the way from 1984 to the year 2000. In other words, he basically belongs in the X-Men. He's got the lycra and everything.
