Our pick of this week's TV Catch Up

How you two doin'? Episodes on BBC Two

Welcome to our round-up of the week's highlights on our TV Catch Up service. On Catch Up you can keep up with all your favourite shows - and anything you might have missed - on BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Five and more.

This week's look at the top telly on the box begins with a return to transatlantic travails in a second series of Episodes on BBC Two. Tamsin Greig and Steve Mangan reprise their roles as married writing team Bev and Sean Lincoln, who were wooed to the States to remake their award-winning show. Against their will, Matt LeBlanc of Joey from Friends success (and Joey from Joey failure) was cast as the lead character of the American version and Hollywood dreams quickly turned into nightmares. Nightmares that reached a nadir when bemused and embittered Bev was seduced by the brilliantly amoral LeBlanc. The comedy picks up in episode one with a marriage in turmoil, friendships seemingly unsalvageable and a sitcom about to premiere. Catch up with Episodes

We continue the loose theme of American remakes of European shows (albeit more seriously) with The Killing on Channel 4. The second season of AMC's version of the Danish Forbrydelsen picked up where we left off, with Seattle mayoral candidate Darren Richmond’s arrest for Rosie Larsen’s killing. In episode two glum detective Sarah Linden believes she may just have stuffed up the investigation spectacularly. What she needs is some help - and she gets it from a sympathetic Seattle district attorney who's a familiar face to fans of the original. In fact, a very familiar face with a penchant for knitted jumpers. Catch up with The Killing

We cross over to BBC Two and British terra firma as the nation's favourite pianist-cum-presenter introduces another musical smorgasbord on Later Live… With Jools Holland. Topping the bill is Plan B, who last appeared on the show with songs from the critically and commercially successful album The Defamation of Strickland Banks back in 2010. The soulful crooning of that album was a brave departure from his rapping roots but he's an angry ant once more as he tackles broken Britain with his new album Ill Manors. Joining him in the studio is Tom Jones, who takes time off from The Voice with tunes from his latest album Spirit in the Room. Catch up with Later Live… With Jools Holland

Musical artists give way to urban art as The Apprentice goes about it's business of separating the entrepreneurial wheat from the chaff in Sir Alan Sugar's bloodied boardroom on BBC One. Week eight has the two teams tasked with finding up-and-coming urban artists whose work they will then try and promote and sell in a pop-up gallery. All they've got to do is convince a bunch of budding Banksies that they are the best team to represent their interests. This leads to some serious schmoozing and culminates in an evening of big pictures, big price tags and even bigger egos. But who's in the frame to be fired by the harshest of critics? And finally, it's the end of a road potentially paved in gold (just ask Susan Magdalane Boyle) for the contestants of Britain's Got Talent on ITV1. After weeks of auditions and five (count 'em) semi finals, the national talent search comes to an end with the ten finalists - and one lucky wild card - performing in front of the judges one last time. David Walliams, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and big boss man Simon Cowell will be there with their trusty buzzers - but their opinion counts for nothing and the fate of the fearful finalists will rest with the viewers at home. As ever, Ant and Dec are there to cover every exuberant and excruciating moment. Catch up with Britain's Got Talent

Don't forget that you can always keep up with your favourite soaps including Coronation Street and EastEnders. More TV Catch Up highlights next week.
