Our pick of this week's TV Catch Up

Engelbert's last waltz? The Eurovision Song Contest 2012 on BBC One.

Welcome to our round-up of the week's highlights on our TV Catch Up service. On Catch Up you can keep up with all your favourite shows - and anything you might have missed - on BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Five and more.

We start our look at all things televisual over the last week with a European institution that began its life long before a euro was ever spent and looks likely to go on well after the euro is spent. Yes, the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 returns to BBC One for it's weird and wonderful annual search for the 'best' tune on a continent of 26 competing nations. The UK's representative this year is 76-year-old crooner Engelbert Humperdinck, who is bidding to become Blighty's first winner since 1997 with his ballad Love Will Set You Free. Will he be able to avoid the tart remarks of Graham Norton, the shameless political voting and the dreaded nul points? Catch up with Eurovision Song Contest 2012

International musicians are also among those gathering over on ITV1, where Soccer Aid 2012 is kicking off. Dermot O'Leary hosts as football heroes of the past team up with celebrities in a charity football match between England and the Rest of the World at Old Trafford. Singer Robbie Williams will once again captain the England team, which includes the likes of Teddy Sheringham, David Seaman, Mark Owen, Olly Murs and Jason Isaacs. They face a World Xl captained by actor Martin Sheen, which boasts a line-up including Hernan Crespo, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Gerard Butler, Mike Myers and Woody Harelson. Back of the net! Back over on BBC One Sir Alan of Amstrad is continuing to sing from his usual hymn profit sheet as the The Apprentice continues. After the Cava and the drama of last week's challenge, which ended in the firing of Jenna, the remaining candidates are now tasked with representing an internet company that offers Londoners cheap deals on hotels, beauty treatments, posh dinners and premium products. This calls upon fierce negotiating skills as the desperate hopefuls need to deliver quality products to the website at the right price and the right time. One unlucky entrepreneur is gonna time-out in the boardroom and get booted. Catch up with The Apprentice

If it sounds like everyone's favourite fashionista is branching out it's because he really is. Gok Cooks Chinese on Channel 4 sees Mr Wan swap the catwalk for a wok as he shows off his other great passion in life, Chinese cuisine. Using what he describes as the 'holy trinity' of ingredients (garlic, ginger and spring onion) he prepares healthy home-cooked dishes he has perfected over the years with the help of his cheftastic father. On the menu in this first episode are a simple egg-fried rice, green beans and shrimp, beef and black bean sauce, and spicy king prawns with cashew nuts - all served super-quick and with a satisfied smile. Wok n spring roll! Catch up with Gok Cooks Chinese

And finally, those that have made big noises in the British TV industry over the last 12 months are being celebrated back on BBC One. The British Academy Television Awards, hosted by comedian Dara O'Briain at London's Royal Festival Hall, sees shows like Spooks, Fresh Meat and This is England '88 vying for recognition. In the running for acting gongs are the likes of Benedict Cumberbatch, Joseph Gilgun, John Simm, Dominic West, Emily Watson, Nadine Marshall, Romola Garai and Vicky McClure. But one person sure of success is Rolf Harris - who is being awarded this year's Bafta Fellowship for his outstanding achievements. Catch up with British Academy Television Awards

Don't forget that you can always keep up with your favourite soaps including Coronation Street and EastEnders. More TV Catch Up highlights next week.
