Character: Honey Monster – Sugar Puffs Catchphrase: Tell ‘em about the honey, mummy! Entertainment value: High. In the early 1980s, this Shrek-meets-a-yellow-abominable-snowman-type monster was teamed up on-screen with mad-haired punk poet John Cooper Clarke, which might have lead to Ozzy Osbourne’s addiction to the sugary cereal – the Prince Of Darkness has boxes of the stuff regularly shipped out to his LA home. Now the HOney Monster is set to return to our screens in a new Mighty Boosh style revamp campaign, prompting us to seek out some more classic TV advert characters over the following pages..
