Geordie Shore cast forced to party
Geordie Shore's Sophie Kasaei feels like she has to party even when she doesn't want to.
The MTV reality show focuses on the wild antics of a group of Newcastle natives and although the group are renowned for their hard-partying ways, Sophie admits she sometimes would prefer a quiet night at home.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "'Geordie Shore' has changed my life for the better but when we're on the show we have to party, that's the show and if you're hungover or you're ill it doesn't matter.
"The programme is about partying so you need to get up and drink and go out and go clubbing. We're not forced to drink loads but when everyone else is drinking, I feel like I need to."
Sophie has struggled with her weight in the past and admitted the show is partly to blame for her piling on the pounds.
She added: "Then we're hungover the next day and just eat crap, that is part of why I put weight on last year. When we're not filming I do try to look after myself and I lost half a stone looking after myself in the off season."
Greg Lake, one of 'Geordie Shore's original stars quit at the beginning of season two and Sophie believes the partying lifestyle was not for him.
She explained: "I was surprised to see Greg leave but he's older and he wants to settle down away from the partying lifestyle. We're younger, I'm 22, Greg is 26 now and he wants to move on with his life."
'Geordie Shore' airs on Tuesdays at 10pm on MTV.
