Harry Hill and Alistair McGowan team up for new show
Harry Hill has joined forces with Alistair McGowan to make a new show for ITV.
The comedian is set to reunite with the team behind his 'TV Burp' series - which looks set to end in March - to make a new panel programme entitled 'You Cannot Be Serious!', which will be hosted by Alistair.
Featuring clips, sketches and impressions of topical themes, the show will allow Alistair - who is well known for previous TV series including 'The Big Impression' - to get back to penning sketches.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "The programme will show funny clips from the week's sports and allow Alistair to write new sketches for the first time in ages. The pilot was side-splittingly funny."
Last month, Harry indicated 'TV Burp' will culminate next month with a "huge finale".
He wrote in a blog post: " The New (and , it seems last) series of TV Burp starts up on the 4th Feb and finishes 8 shows later at the end of March in a huge finale - SO MAKE THE MOST OF IT !!! (sic)"
