Downton Abbey movie to be set in space?
Jessica Brown-Findlay wants 'Downton Abbey: The Movie' to be set "on a spaceship".
The 22-year-old actress - who plays Lady Sybil Crawley in the ITV1 period drama - would love the motion picture to be based "in the future" with the fictional estate floating around the solar system.
She joked: "'Downton Abbey: The Movie'? Yeah, could be set in the future on a spaceship and Downton Abbey floats. Yeah, who knows?"
As well as her excitement about the possibility of the TV show being turned into a feature-length film, Jessica can't wait for Oscar-winning actress Shirley MacLaine to join the cast of the 'Downton' for the forthcoming third series, which will see her play Martha Levinson, the mother of Elizabeth McGovern's aristocratic character Lady Cora Grantham.
Jessica added in an interview with Absolute Radio: "There are no words for how excited we are. I think we're all just giddy. It's wonderful to get new people on the show anyway, but Shirley. I mean, can you imagine?
"It's going to be so much fun just doing the scenes with everyone, and we've got this new amazing woman with us, it's just going to be amazing.
"I'm really proud of what we've done and I'm really looking forward to series three, I think it's going to be a beautiful, beautiful series now."
