David Walliams to narrate Top Dog Model
David Walliams will star in ITV's new reality show 'Top Dog Model'.
The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge will do the voiceover for the ''pup idol'' type show which will put pooches from all over Britain through a series of challenges before they are whittled down by an 'X Factor' style panel.
A source told The Sun newspaper: ''This is a light-hearted show so David is the perfect choice to give the narration a tongue-in-cheek feel. He loves his dogs so will give off some of that passion to the audience.''
David is reported to have signed the deal with Simon Cowell while on a recent trip to St Tropez in France.
Simon is a huge dog fan and was thrilled when Ashleigh Butler and her dog Pudsey won the most recent series of 'Britain's Got Talent'.
The famous pooch even signed a £100,000 biography deal with Orion Books and it is expected to be a huge seller.
A source said: ''Pudsey's story will be a fascinating read.
''You might laugh but this book will sell. We're getting a ghost writer as obviously Pudsey can't write a book himself - let alone speak English. The plan is to get it out for Christmas and make it a must have coffee table book.''
