The Apprentice: "It should have been Lorraine"

Retail Business Manager, Howard Ebison has become the tenth person to be fired by Sir Alan Sugar.

We caught up with the award-winning street dancer for an exclusive chat to discuss loud-mouth Debra and ask if he really did warn Kate off Philip…

Did Sir Alan make the right decision?
Not even slightly. It should have been Lorraine. She’s been really inconsistent throughout and she’s been difficult to work with.

What do you think it is that Sir Alan sees in her?
Well, I think he’s demonstrated that he’s a risk taker by putting Lorraine through to the next round. I don’t think she’ll cope well with the interviews at all.

Where did it all go wrong?
Well, Lorraine kept telling us not to underestimate her but before we went into the boardroom I did just that. I didn’t think I was at risk of going home and she was better prepared than I was.

Debra has been quite a controversial candidate, what do you think of her?
Debra’s a very strong candidate. She says exactly what she thinks, so you always know exactly where you stand. And she never says a bad word about anyone behind their back.

Sir Alan seemed to think Kate had lost her drive over the last couple of tasks, was she missing Philip do you think?
She hasn’t been distracted or lost focus. She’s an extremely credible candidate.

Is it true that you warned her off starting a relationship with Philip?

Who do you think will win the series?
Kate. I’ve always thought that if I want to win the Apprentice, she’s the one I need to beat.

What are you plans now?
Long term I would like to set up my own customer service management consultancy. However, in the short term, I would like to do something in that field but for a large existing company.
