Who do you think you're looking at?

COMEDY
Charlotte Church Show – C4 – February
Stars:
Charlotte Church and guests
What can we expect? Our favourite Welsh lass is back with a second series of her chat show. She’ll be chatting with a bunch of people, including Johnny Vegas, Rupert Everett, Liza Minnelli and Patsy Kensit. She also squeezes in comedy sketches and studio games – and it wouldn’t be the Charlotte Church Show without her having a sing-song with a band as well.

The Bad Mother's Handbook – ITV1
Stars:
Catherine Tate, Holly Grainger, Anne Reid
What can we expect? Comedy queen Catherine Tate turns her talent to drama as a mother with a teenage daughter she had while still in her teens. With the grandmother also in the picture, the comedy follows a year in the life of all three of them, with a look at motherhood from the moment of (accidental) conception to the newly-born’s first ear-drum shattering wail.

Bremner Bird & Fortune – C4 – March
Stars:
Rory Bremner, John Bird and John Fortune
What can we expect? The Establishment should get its weekly battering in the run up to Tony Blair’s imminent departure as the masters of satire return for a new series. With a leadership battle soon to get underway within New Labour and dominate the headlines, prepare to chortle!p>

My Name is Earl – E4 – August
Stars:
Jason Lee, Ethan Suplee, Nadine Velazquez, Eddie Steeples, Jamie Pressly
What can we expect? The karma-cleansing comedy redneck is back with yet more wrongs to put right from the very long list he created after winning the lottery. His conscience is still getting him into terrible scrapes. Earl Hickey continues to transform his life in this second series. Watch out for guest turns from Burt Reynolds, Roseanne Bar and Christian Slater.

Fonejacker – E4 – April
Stars:

What can we expect? If prank calls crease you up then this show is for you. Fonejacker is a man addicted to cold calling, confusing his victims by taking on all manner of guises, including characters like George the African Scamster who’ll try anything to get some bank details out of the unsuspecting or Mr Doovde who talks in abbreviations.
