Setting up Profiles on our Virgin TV 360 or Stream boxes

Virgin TV profiles are pretty much as the name suggests – individual TV profiles with personalised recommendations based on what you love to watch.

You can create up to six personal profiles in total on our Virgin TV 360 or Stream boxes, so everyone in your household can enjoy a personalised TV experience - no need to fight over a single profile (or TV box!) with the rest of your household. Each profile is unique from the next, meaning your watch habits and recommendations won’t be affected by anyone else’s, and vice versa.

Once your profile is set up on Virgin TV, it’ll also sync with the Virgin TV Go app, meaning your tailored recommendations and watch history follow you whether you’re watching at home or on the move.

Even better, with Multiroom viewing, you’re not tied to one screen. Pause in the living room and pick up where you left off in the bedroom, or stream different shows on different boxes at the same time. Total flexibility, zero fuss.

No matter whether you are creating your first profile or your sixth one, the process is the same no matter how many you are creating in your household.

1. Press the profiles button:

Press the profiles button on the side of your Virgin TV remote to get started. If this is your first time, you’ll be prompted to create a profile.

2. Personalise your profile:

Choose an avatar to help you personalise your profile to match your personality, TV tastes or even your favourite colour. Use the on-screen keyboard to name your profile, whether that be your name, a nickname, or something else.

3. Explore the homepage:

Once you have a profile set up, you’re ready to start streaming and watching live TV to your heart’s content. Check out the watchlist feature and keep an eye on how it updates based on your viewing habits over time.

Need to swap profiles? Simply press the profiles button on your Virgin TV remote and select the profile you want to use.

My Watchlist

With My Watchlist, keeping track of what you want to watch is beautifully simple. Spot a new series or cinema release that catches your eye? Just click Save on your TV remote and add it to your Watchlist, no recording needed. Whatever you save will be right there waiting for you, ready to press play whenever the moment’s right.

TV Go app

Your Watchlist goes wherever you do. Manage it from any Virgin TV box or on the Virgin TV Go app, all at no extra cost. Whether you’re stretched out on the sofa or out and about, you can stream, save and keep your TV list organised with ease. And with catch-up available for up to 30 days after broadcast, there’s no rush, you’ve got plenty of time to tune in.
