This tragicomic drama is set in northwest London and filmed around Dartmouth Park, between Highgate and Kentish Town in Camden. This was once an actual park belonging to the Earl of Dartmouth.

Four main roads in the Dartmouth Park district are where almost all Fleabag action was filmed. Street scenes cover the leafy suburbs between Highgate, Kentish Town, and Parliament Hill Fields. Some of the open spaces and outdoor city scenes were filmed in central London, including Lincoln's Inn Fields and Finsbury Square.

Filming locations for Fleabag

York Rise

The Village Café in York Rise near Highgate was picked as the location for Fleabag's guinea-pig-themed café. The BBC gave the original premises a makeover but after the show finished, it became a Turkish kitchen.

Laurier Road

Fleabag's sister Clair's house is just two minutes walk around the corner from the café on Laurier Road. This house belongs to Claire, Fleabag’s sister, and it’s just a two-minute walk from the café on Laurier Road. This is a residential street that crosses York Rise.

Southampton Road

Fleabag's night-time street excursions were usually filmed on Southampton Road in Gospel Oak.

Hedsor House, Buckinghamshire

This historic mansion is now an ornate country house venue for events and weddings. The house sits in extensive grounds overlooking a loop in the River Thames and is one of the UK's top ten choices for filmmakers. This is the only Fleabag location outside London. In the middle of the first series Fleabag and her sister go there for a silent retreat.

The Tate Modern

The climactic final scene of the first series features a sexhibition mounted by Fleabag's godmother. This was shot on the top floor of London's Tate Modern, a former power station on Bankside. A popular film and TV location, huge plate glass windows overlook the Thames and St Paul’s Cathedral. The cinematographer was able to take advantage of the sunset over the river.

Smith & Wollensky, Covent Garden

The second season of Fleabag premiered with a family dinner party filmed at this American steakhouse. S&W is just off the Strand in the old Adelphi Hotel building. This is the last survivor of the 18th-century neoclassical terrace that fringed the Thames and, inside, is 1930s art deco.

St Andrew's Church, Kingsbury

In the second series, Fleabag meets the Hot Priest, played by Andrew Scott. Several of the church scenes involved in their relationship were filmed at the Parish Church of St Andrew's, on Old Church Lane. The production also used Christ Church, Hampstead, a Victorian Gothic building in Hampstead Square.

Dartmouth Park

The small park areas around Laurier Road were used for some of the street scenes in Fleabag. Many of the streets around York Rise were also used as locations. The bus stop, though, was shot all the way west in Station Road, Hampton.
