Dogs With Extraordinary Jobs giveaway
Dogs With Extraordinary Jobs is a new series on Love Nature that’s as extraordinary as its name. It’s created by English dog trainer, author and presenter Victoria Stilwell, who is best known for her international hit TV series It’s Me Or The Dog. The show shines a light on the ways in which our four-legged friends help scientists, rescuers and disadvantaged individuals, and you can catch it on Tuesday 11 June at 9.50pm on Love Nature/HD (CH 294/293).
For example, therapeutic assistance dog Ricochet surfs (yes, you read that right) with adults and children with disabilities, wounded soldiers and veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder. She’s also part of a group of therapy dogs that help autistic children learn how to swim.
There’s also Gracie, who uses her herding skills to protect goats, deer and sheep from traffic in Montana’s Glacier National Park. We could go on, but we don’t think our hearts could take it! We’ll leave you to enjoy the heartwarming stories presented in each episode and the very, very good dogs at their centre.
