Virgin Media and O2 have come together to supercharge the UK – and Virgin Mobile’s up next

By Virgin Media

In June 2021, Virgin Media and O2 joined forces with the mission to supercharge the UK.

We’ve kept ourselves pretty busy since then. Let’s take a quick look back at the past 18 months.

First up, we launched our Volt bundles to give our customers exclusive benefits for being with both Virgin Media and O2 – by boosting their Virgin Media broadband speed to the next available level (up to a max of 1Gbps), doubling the mobile data on every eligible O2 Pay Monthly plan in their household, and loads more.

Then, we extended the access to Priority from O2 to Virgin Media broadband customers. So they can now get Priority Tickets for thousands of gigs and events across the UK, as well as rewards, unique experiences, daily treats, prize draws and perks, all through the Priority app. Just for being part of the family.

We’ve also moved Virgin Mobile customers onto O2’s award-winning network, so they can make the most of our 99% 3G and 4G coverage, and ever-growing 5G network.

Together, we’ve upgraded our infrastructure in more parts of the country, brought 5G to 1,000 towns, cities and villages across the UK, and delivered gigabit speeds to our entire fibre network.

And we’ve committed to investing at least £10 billion over the next five years to bring you even more from both of us.

So, you’ll see even more changes and upgrades from Virgin Media O2 this year, including some affecting our Virgin Mobile services.

So, if you’re with Virgin Mobile, please stay tuned. We’ll keep you updated along the way, so you’ll know exactly what’s happening and when.
