LUNAR Remastered Collection
Available from Good Friday on PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC
Everyone knows that the 1990s were a golden age for gaming. And the launch of Japanese RPG series LUNAR exemplified that. Players old and young joined arms as aspiring Dragonmasters to save their home from various evils. Generations later, you can relive the enchanting worlds of LUNAR: Silver Star Story Complete and LUNAR 2: Eternal Blue Complete, featuring enhanced graphics and audio, updated language support and quality-of-life improvements.
FATAL FURY: City Of The Wolves
Available from Thursday 24 April on PC, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
We bet that you didn’t have Cristiano Ronaldo in a fighting video game on your 2025 bingo card. In the first City Of The Wolves instalment for more than two decades, the footballing legend is going head-to-head with franchise fighters including Terry Bogard, Billy Kane and Rock Howard, and he’s armed with super slick special moves like Echo Shot, Field Dominator, Slide Tackle. And his trusty football, obv. Come on down to South Town and see for yourself.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Available from Thursday 24 April on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
It’s been dubbed the biggest RPG of the year. Join the ranks of Expedition 33 as its members – including a serene warrior, a bloodthirsty Gestral and a mythical being – journey to the perilous Continent to stop the Paintress from ravaging their world. Expect turn-based combat, compelling characters with their own inventory of melee weapons and ranged attacks, a star-studded voice cast including Andy Serkis (aka Gollum from The Lord Of The Rings) and an immersive storyline that’s just waiting to be explored.
Days Gone Remastered
Available from Friday 25 April on PS5
Looking for your next zombie fix? Look no further than the remastered edition of Days Gone. Originally released in 2019, the action-adventure game centres on outlaw-turned-drifter Deacon St John, who’s on a mission to find his wife in a post-apocalyptic Oregon. The new version introduces bonus in-game content, over 20 weapons including a flamethrower, Permadeath and Speedrun modes, plus a fresh take on the terrifying Horde Assault that adds a whopping 10 hours of gameplay (just check out that trailer!).
Forza Horizon 5
Available from Tuesday 29 April on PS5
One of the biggest racing franchises finally makes its way to the PS5 platform. Come along for the thrilling ride in Forza Horizon 5, the 2021 winner of IGN’s Game Of The Year award. Explore the largest open-world map in the entire Forza Horizon franchise with an active caldera volcano, jungles, beaches, cities and ancient Mayan temples, as you burn rubber through multiplayer races and campaign modes. Plus, customise your dream car with features including engine swaps, drivetrain swaps and body kits.
MotoGP™ 25
Available from Wednesday 30 April on PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S
Enter the high-octane world of motorcycle racing in the annual instalment of the MotoGP™ world. Whether you’re a fan of the franchise already or are just getting your first taste of two wheels, the game promises authentic race thrills with playable real-life riders, renewed sound design that was recorded on-site from official bikes, new training sessions and motorcycling disciplines to master and the addition of another world-renowned circuit – Balaton Park in Hungary.
Skin Deep
Available from Wednesday 30 April on PC
Hear us out… imagine if Die Hard was set in space. That’s the (sort of) premise in this immersive sci-fi shooter where you’re outnumbered and outgunned and, crucially, have no shoes on. After space pirates storm your ship to steal the valuables on board, your mission as the ship’s insurance agent is to sneak, subvert and sabotage their plans before it’s too late. And if things couldn’t get even more bizarre, your starship is crewed entirely by a bunch of space cats. Yippee-ki-yay!
The Midnight Walk
Available from Thursday 8 May on PS5
If you like Tim Burton’s gothic-inspired creations, then you’ll love this dark fantasy adventure from the creative forces behind Lost In Random and Fe. Players assume the role of The Burnt One and, with the help of your new friend Potboy, journey through five creepy tales of darkness and fire while outsmarting enemies who are eager to devour your little friend’s flame. Don’t play this one with the lights turned off.
Revenge Of The Savage Planet
Available from Thursday 8 May on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S
Trust us when we say that the second addition to the Savage Planet franchise is out of this world. Blast off on this sci-fi co-op adventure as a cosmonaut who’s tasked with finding their way home, using a new third-person perspective to run, jump and shoot your way through vibrant worlds. Revenge Of The Savage Planet has also kept its predecessor’s upgrade system, so you can enhance your character’s abilities through collecting in-game currency and materials.
DOOM: The Dark Ages
Available from Thursday 15 May on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
The prequel to the critically acclaimed DOOM saga is here. While players might be used to the Doom Slayer (aka Doomguy) delivering a slew of attacks in fast-paced combat, this edition focuses on a more grounded battle experience – meaning that Doomguy is finally putting those rippling biceps to good use. That doesn’t mean that players don’t get to test out some gnarly new weapons though, such as the aptly named Skull Crusher. Plus, for the first time ever, you can pilot vehicles on the battlefield like a cybernetic dragon or a 30-storey Atlan mech. Sweet.
Dune: Awakening
Available in three Editions from Tuesday 20 May on PC
Can you hear that? It’s the sound of a massively multiplayer online role-playing game heading right for us and it’s taking us straight into the heart of Arrakis. Except in this alternative timeline Paul Atreides was never born. Create your avatar, select your mentor and along with thousands of other players find the missing Fremen to “awake the sleeper”. But surviving this world is no easy task: beware of the dangers that lurk around every corner, from monstrous sandworms to brutal Coriolis storms that cause weekly map refreshes. Top tip: listen to the in-game radio stations for propaganda broadcasts, helpful hints and music from the original Dune games.
