When you’re flicking through lists detailing the best shows of 2025, we guarantee that Last One Laughing UK will be near the top – and quite rightly so. A simple premise – you laugh, you’re out – added a frankly outrageous line-up that brought Bob Mortimer, Daisy May Cooper, Joe Lycett, Judi Love, Rob Beckett, Sara Pascoe, Lou Sanders, Joe Wilkinson, Harriet Kemsley and Richard Ayoade into a room to try to break each other without cracking up themselves. The result was spectacular, and season 2 is unsurprisingly on its way. Jimmy Carr hosts alongside special guest Roisin Conaty.

Molly-Mae appeared on the fifth season of Love Island and didn’t even win it, yet she is undoubtedly the show’s most famous graduate. The first season of this series took home the prize for best Authored Documentary at the National Television Awards, while this second series received similar acclaim when the first part was released (the second part is coming in 2026). An insightful glimpse into Molly-Mae’s life, and what it means to play the fame game in 2025.

Struggling to get to grips with the truth and the ethically correct way to proceed, Alma finds her personal life falling apart. This is a bold attempt to address some key moral questions in modern society: it doesn’t pretend to have all the answers, but offers a nuanced and empathetic take on gender politics, class, envy and generational differences.

If you’re among the millions who have marvelled at Alan Ritchson’s mighty moral code and even mightier fists in Reacher, you’ll be delighted to know that he’s turning his powers to comedy in this fun action film. Ritchson’s Jeff seems to be an ordinary (if unusually large) suburban dad but has a secret violent double life – which Bryan (Kevin James, Pixels) is about to find out the hard way.
