Alongside brilliant MI6 agent Noel (Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Citadel), they must find a way to thwart a conspiracy that threatens the free world.

Not since the days of Twilight has there been a bigger stan-rivalry than the one between Belly and brothers Conrad and Jeremiah. Krays: London’s Gangsters

At the height of their reign in the heart of London’s East End, it seemed like nothing could stop the criminal empire that twin brothers Reggie and Ronnie Kray had built together. Now, 25 years on from their deaths, this documentary brings a new perspective to the infamous men behind the Krays myth, examining their rise to the top of London’s criminal underworld through never-before-heard audio tapes recorded by Reggie for Ronnie while both were imprisoned.

The Chosen: Last Supper

The fifth instalment of Dallas Jenkins’ The Chosen follows the events of Holy Week, as Jesus (Jonathan Roumie) shares a final meal with his disciples while betrayal hangs menacingly in the background.

Kat Sadler’s comedy drama about a family scarred by traumatic experience and trying to navigate normal life is honest, raw, painfully funny and a real treat, reflected in its BAFTA Award for scripted comedy. Creator and writer Sadler also stars as Josie, coping with mental illness, alongside real-life sister Lizzie Davidson as luckless romantic Billie, while mum Deb (Louise Brealey) tries to keep it all together. As the second series begins, Josie is hoping for a fresh start as she begins her art school course, while Billie has met an older man.

Acclaimed documentary-maker Adam Curtis (HyperNormalisation, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head) returns with a five-part series analysing how we got to where we are today. His theory: when the foundations of power shift in society, as they did in the late 20th century, it chips away at stability and that’s why people feel unsteady and frightened of the future. Once again, he uses archive images and footage – often rare – to illustrate his narration, along with some terrific music choices. Curtis’s style is witty and engaging, and he’s a true original thinker.

Another series of this excellent Australian mystery drama based on Chris Hammer’s best-selling novels arrives, and this time investigative journalist Martin Scarsden (Luke Arnold) is back in his home town of Port Silver. But it’s not long before he finds himself at another bloody crime scene – and the twist this time is that his girlfriend Mandy (Bella Heathcote) is present, holding a weapon and with no recollection of events. Can Martin figure out the truth? Find out over four gripping episodes.

This sobering two-part documentary is an eye-opening look at what happens in some obscure corners of the internet.

Just when she’s getting under their skin, Charlotte’s ex Leo (Sendhil Ramamurthy, Never Have I Ever) reappears as well. Outnumbered’s Hugh Dennis reprises his role as unsettling neighbour Alan.

Presented by American footballer turned chef Eddie Jackson and model Camila Alves, it’s guaranteed to make your mouth water (and probably encourage you to stock up on charcoal).

Using recordings previously unheard by the public, three-part docuseries Making Manson unpacks the myths that have built up around 1960s murder cult leader Charles Manson, presenting him not as a charismatic messiah but as a product of an ugly childhood with a career of crime behind him. The tapes include unfiltered conversations with John Michael Jones, who befriended the imprisoned Manson in the 1990s and brings out revelations that journalists or psychologists could not. It affords a genuine insight into the psyche of the real man and is all the more chilling for it.

The other mystery Pearl has to solve is Mike (Howard Charles), who’s back in town with a new approach to life – but has he really changed?
