Virgin TV brilliantly brings together the shows you love, and that’s why you can now get stuck into two new themed streaming channels. The best part? They’re on the house.

From Thursday 4 December, customers with our Stream box, Virgin TV 360 or our Virgin TV V6 box (powered by TiVo^®) can kick back and dive into two new channels dedicated to music at no extra cost.

With themed channels, you can immerse yourself in your favourite genres and activities or get lost in round-the-clock episodes of hit TV shows. Perfect if you know what you like and don’t fancy searching far and wide to find it.

So, whether you prefer listening to orchestral sounds and know your mezzo-soprano from your contralto, or if you’re more into the improvisational freedom that comes with jazz or the timeless appeal of soul and blues, our two new music channels have something just for you.

Don’t forget, we recently added the Inside Outside channel and our most-loved themed streaming channels on demand, so you can now kick back and dive into even more great telly, all at your fingertips.

Please note, if you watch TV on our TiVo^® box, you will not be able to access our themed channels. But it’s super easy to upgrade to our latest Virgin TV box.

Stingray Classica (CH 296)

Stingray Classica is your new music channel dedicated to classical music, opera and ballet. If you’re a classical music expert or a newcomer to the genre, there is something here to suit everyone. On Stingray Classica, you’ll be able to enjoy a whopping 50 world premieres a year, recorded at renowned concert halls, festivals and opera houses around the world. The channel also features high-quality documentaries, exclusive classical music programming and weekly premieres – all in one place.

So, sit back and let the orchestral sounds move you in ways you hadn’t imagined. Here’s a taste of what you can enjoy in December.

The only television channel dedicated to all jazz and jazz-related genres has arrived. From the smallest underground venues to the grandest stages, Stingray DJAZZ is the new channel that brings home jazz that you can't get anywhere else. You'll find concerts, films, portraits and documentaries from various international arenas and festivals. Stingray DJAZZ also presents artist profiles, interviews and backstage reports.

For lovers of jazz, soul, blues, funk, gospel, hip-hop, fusion, reggae, Latin, swing and bebop, this is the perfect channel. Here’s a taste of what you can enjoy in December.

To access our themed channels, simply navigate to that channel in your Virgin TV guide. If you have our V6 box, you’ll be asked to press the Red Button to launch the channel. You can return to the TV Guide whenever you want by pressing Back or another exit button.

If you have our 360 or Stream boxes, then the channel will launch automatically after 1 second. You can also return to the TV Guide whenever you want by pressing Back or another exit button.

Remember, if you watch TV on our TiVo^® box, you will not be able to access our themed channels. But it’s super easy to upgrade to our latest Virgin TV box.
