Use a Virgin V6 box or TiVo box? Virgin TV apps have got you covered. Meet Virgin TV Control.

The Virgin Media TV app that allows you to control your TV from anywhere, use Virgin TV Control on as many devices as you’d like. Manage recordings from anywhere with a WiFi, 3G or 4G connection. Stream recordings, browse the TV Guide and personalise your channel set up with favourites first. Use your mobile or tablet as an extra remote.

How do I add the Virgin TV Control app to my TiVo box?

To install an app on your TiVo box, press the circle button on your TiVo remote to go to the Android TV home screen and choose apps. If you don’t see the app you want, you can search for it yourself on Google Play by selecting Apps, then Get More Apps, then searching for it. Follow the on-screen instructions to install it.

Sky Sports and Sky Cinema

If you’re a Virgin TV customer with Sky Cinema, you can watch Sky’s movies with Virgin TV Go, on your PC, iPad, iPhone, iPod touch or Android device. Watch every Sky Cinema channel, plus loads of movies on demand, from Hollywood blockbusters to family movies.

Want the big game in your pocket? If you’re subscribed to Sky Sports, you also get access to the Sky Sports app. It's available wherever there’s a 3G, 4G or WiFi connection in the UK, so you never have to miss a live tournament or season finale when someone else is hogging the remote or you’re in between places.

What is a minimum period?

When you take any services from Virgin Media you will be committing to taking that service for a minimum amount of time (e.g., 18 months). Virgin Media call this a minimum period, minimum term or minimum commitment period but they mean the same thing. Please check your basket for details of the minimum period that applies to the services you have chosen.

What if I cancel or move home?
If you cancel during the minimum period, you may need to pay an early disconnection fee, including when you move to a property outside of the Virgin Media Network area – this is because you will be asking to cancel your services early. The Virgin Media network does not cover all of the UK – please use our postcode checker here to check availability.
