Fellow Guardians, 2018 was a big year. Destiny 2: Forsaken arrived and this brand new chapter in the Destiny story was more epic and more enthralling than ever…

But just as enthralling as this new tale from the lawless wastelands of what was once The Reef, was that of Virgin Media’s hunt for the Last Guardian Standing! We teamed up with YouTuber and gaming expert Arekkz to scour the lands in search of the most knowledgeable Destiny fan out there. Their reward? A once-in-a-lifetime trip to the home of the game – Bungie Studios in Seattle. That’s not it though, because together they also got to look at the third Izanami Forge in some exclusive Virgin Media gameplay, which you can also see in the video below.

So, here’s what happened when our winning Warlock, Scott (and his lucky friend David) joined Arrekz on their stateside adventure…

From thousands of hopefuls only one could stand victorious. Scott battled through three rounds of fierce competition to answer the call and claim the Last Guardian Standing crown. Thanks to all who entered the competition, and of course to Bungie Studios for taking us behind the scenes.
