With so much on the box, there’s no better time to get bang up to speed on where you can find all the great channels available to you. And with Stream, we’ve packed all your favourite channels and entertainment subscriptions into one clever little box.
Recent changes to your Stream channel guide
From Tuesday 10 September, all Virgin TV customers will now have access to CNN HD (CH 626), at no extra cost.
You’ll also find that PBS America (CH 187) is now available in HD to all Virgin TV customers from Tuesday 10 September.
And if you love Christmas movies, Great! Romance (CH 424) is now Great! Christmas, showing the best in festive films all day, every day. It is also available to all Virgin TV customers. Ho ho ho, indeed.
Recent changes to your Stream service
Introducing a new area just for TV shows called… TV Shows, where you can find the latest episodes, whole series, your favourite TV channel or a genre you love.
Looking for inspiration? Find Top Picks and curated Collections in our Featured page showcasing hand-picked titles we know you’re going to love. The Channels page does what it says on the tin. The Store page gives you the best telly you can buy and keep. Sport has all the action to watch on demand, while Kids has loads of shows to keep the little ones entertained. It’s all here in TV Shows, your new home for the best telly your eyeballs can handle.
Just press the Home button and navigate to TV Shows in the top menu and press OK. Need to catch up on the latest watercooler TV like a speedster? Make a beeline for it using our powerful Voice Search by holding the microphone button on your remote control and saying the name of the show you’re after. Or just say “TV Shows” to navigate to this menu.
Love movies? Then check out the new Movies section to find the latest and greatest films all in one place – to rent, buy or enjoy as part of your subscription. Whether you want big blockbusters fresh from the cinema, the classics you watch time and time again or the best indie flicks, our Top Picks and Collections sections in our Featured page will help you find them. The Store page, meanwhile, has the best titles to buy or rent straight from the cinema.
You know the score by now. Tap the Home button and navigate to Movies in the top menu and press OK. Want to find out if a film is available? Then use our Voice Search on your remote control and say the name of the film you want to watch. If you say “Movies” then you’ll find your way to this menu. Think of it as your new personal home cinema.
Don’t forget My Watchlist also lets you save your TV guide picks, On Demand gems and app favourites so you can create your own personal playlist of great content. You can save telly from anywhere on your box – whether you’re browsing the TV guide, the home screen, or searching for your favourite show. To give it a go, just hit the Save button on your Stream remote, or use Voice Control (hit the microphone button and say “add to My Watchlist”). To get stuck into all this Stream goodness, head to the bottom of the page to download your channel guide and find out more about the channels you can get, plus your favourite paid-for subscription apps and premium TV channel collections. Then it’s up to you to go forth and get stuck into tons of terrific telly treats.
Please note: on your next bill, you’ll notice that your Stream service has a new name. There’s nothing to worry about – you’ll still be able to enjoy your favourite TV content in the same way as you do today.
