Managing bills on my Virgin Media app

In the My Virgin Media app, you’ll see an overview of your latest bill and due date on the Home screen, but if you want to find out more just tap Bills.

In the Bills area of the app, you can setup a new Direct Debit or change your current Direct Debit details, view your most recent charges and even make a credit or debit card payment towards your bill balance.

 

Set Up a new Direct Debit

To set up a new Direct Debit just make sure you have your bank account number and sort code to hand then:

1.     Tap Bills

2.     In the Bills area tap Direct Debit

3.     Tap Set up Direct Debit account

4.     Follow the online instructions to setup your Direct Debit

 

Change your current Direct Debit details

To change your currently registered Direct Debit details:

1.     Tap Bills

2.     In the Bills area tap Direct Debit

3.     Tap Change Direct Debit details

4.     Follow the online instructions to change your Direct Debit details


View bill history

You can easily view, download and print your 12 most recent bills.

To view previous bills:

1.     Tap Bill History

2.     Tap the bill you want to view

 
Message us

You can get in touch with a member of our team if you’ve got any questions about your bill [CM1] using the app’s messaging service.

To do this:

1.    Tap on Help

2.    Scroll to Something else

3.    Tap on Contact us

4.    Tap on Message us


Recent charges

To view any recent charges added to your Broadband, TV and Home Phone account including calls, pay per view purchases or any adjustments we’ve made to your bill just tap Recent charges.

In the Recent charges area you can check the total amount due to be added to your next month’s bill, along with a summary of any call charges, pay per view charges, adjustments, and any changes to your package that you’ve made since your last bill.

To view a more detailed breakdown of any of the recent charges displayed, just tap the charges listed under summary you’d like to see.

 

Make a payment

If you want to make a payment towards your Broadband, TV and Home Phone account when you’re on the move you can do it easily using the My Virgin Media App, all you need is your Credit or Debit card details.

To make a payment:

1.     Tap Bills

2.     In the Bills area tap Make a payment

3.     Follow the online instructions to make the payment

 

Check your credit limit

If you've got a credit limit you can keep an eye on your credit limit usage wherever you are.

To view your credit limit:

1.     Tap Bills

2.     Tap Credit Limit

 

From here you’ll be able to see the total amount of credit available and the credit used towards your credit limit.

Remember, if you exceed your credit limit your services will be restricted so if you notice you’re getting close to your credit limit just make a payment towards your account using the My Virgin Media app.
