It’s the second leg of the semi-finals, and the four remaining clubs know they are just 90 minutes away from the final at Lisbon’s Estádio José Alvalade. Who will walk out onto the pitch on the night – and who will come away with the trophy?

We’re giving all TV customers with our Virgin TV V6 box (powered by TiVo®), Virgin TV 360 or Stream box the chance to watch Chelsea v Barcelona at no extra cost.

Tune in to Virgin TV Showcase (CH 100) in partnership with the DAZN Women’s Football channel on Sunday 27 April to watch the crucial second leg as the reigning Women’s Super League champions take on the Champions League holders.

Here’s how you can watch it.

Chelsea v Barcelona

Barcelona’s Aitana Bonmatí and Chelsea’s Erin Cuthbert. Chelsea v Barcelona is live on Virgin TV Showcase (CH 100) on Sunday 27 April.

Sunday 27 April, 2pm, Virgin TV Showcase (CH 100)

Under former coach Emma Hayes, Chelsea won everything domestically, including the WSL title five years in a row – but they couldn’t manage to cap that off by claiming the Champions League. The closest they got was in 2021, when they made it to the final against Barcelona… and were beaten 4-0. Since then they’ve faced the Catalan club in two semi-finals and lost narrowly both times.

So redemption is on the cards. The Blues have a new head coach in Sonia Bompastor, who has won the Champions League as both player and manager with Lyon. They may be without star striker Sam Kerr, who’s still to recover from a serious knee injury, but they’ve been putting opponents to the sword regularly in England. It’s going to be an uphill task after the first leg last Sunday, which Barcelona won 4-1 – but with the firepower of Mayra Ramirez, Johanna Rytting Kaneryd and new England star Aggie Beever-Jones, backed up by the creativity of Sandy Baltimore and Guro Reiten and a solid defence led by Millie Bright and Lucy Bronze, Chelsea are capable of beating any team.

And yes, that includes Barcelona. They’ve won three of the last four Champions League titles and boast some of the world’s best players in Ballon d’Or winners Aitana Bonmatí and Alexia Putellas, as well as Salma Paralluelo, Caroline Graham Hansen and Ona Batlle. But this year they’ve not been quite so dominant domestically as previously, and Chelsea have been getting better and better. With the wily Bompastor calling the shots, they’ll go into this all-important match with confidence.

Whoever emerges triumphant, it’s sure to be a thrilling match between arguably the two best women’s club sides in the world. Don’t miss the match on Virgin TV Showcase (CH 100) this Sunday.
