Anyone who’s spent 20 minutes lost in a stately home maze and think this sounds like a bit of jolly fun has clearly never seen any of the Maze Runner saga – a fusion of The Hunger Games, Lost and the Bourne films. Here the trilogy roars to a close with Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) leading his gang of resistance fighters, including British Game Of Thrones stars Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Nathalie Emmanuel, in one final hurrah. Can they get the answers to the questions they’ve been asking since they arrived in the maze? They’ll need to make it out alive first…

Humanity has spent years searching for mythical creatures – Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster and, most fabled of all, a cyclist who doesn’t bring up the fact with ten seconds of meeting them. This gorgeous animation sees young detective Simon and passionate scientist Nelly embark on a trip of a lifetime to the Himalayas, having been given three months to prove that the Abominable Snowman exists. Will this unlikely duo succeed? Expect action, adventure, colourful characters and a very talkative bird!

For a suspenseful psychological thriller…

Natalie Dormer leads an all-star cast in this gritty thriller, which she also co-wrote with director Anthony Byrne. She plays a blind pianist, one who bashes out the kind of chilling, string-driven film scores that routinely accompany this kind of movie. But when she overhears a struggle in the apartment above hers that leads to the death of her neighbour (Emily Ratajkowski), she’s pulled into London’s dark underworld and a whodunnit of her own making. There are twists, turns, hidden paths and secrets to be revealed.

Katie (Olivia Cooke) dreams of a new life in San Francisco. But right now, she’s stuck in a struggling desert town in Arizona. There’s a trailer park, a small diner and… well, that’s pretty much it. To get outta town and start over, she needs to save some money, and to do that she takes some fairly drastic – and NSFW – action. Cooke has had an incredible run recently, with Ready Player One and TV’s Vanity Fair, and this understated film is yet another memorable role for the British actor.

In this drama based on a true story, and set just weeks before the 2011 Egyptian revolution, Fares Fares (Westworld) plays a chain-smoking detective locked into Cairo’s deeply corrupt justice system. When a famous club singer at the Nile Hilton Hotel is seemingly murdered in a crime of passion, he goes to investigate. But something immediately seems off, and it may go all the way to the top. In the spirit of classic noirs, our man needs to break the rules and put everything on the line.
