Though the first rule of the Sony Movie Channel’s Friday Night Film Club is, of course, not to talk about Friday Night Film Club, we’ve been given special dispensation to let you know about the cracking line-up of flicks set to be beamed into your tellybox over the coming weeks.

From thought-provoking dramas to gritty British crime comedies, there’s something for everyone, starting with James Mangold’s 1996 hit, Girl, Interrupted, starring Angelina Jolie and Winona Ryder, on Friday 9 August at 9pm. Fantastic Friday night films to follow are Guy Ritchie’s Snatch, intense drama Edge Of Winter and epic adventure King Arthur, with Clive Owen and Kiera Knightley (pictured above).
