With his incredible flair for pulsating storytelling, it’s no wonder Hollywood has spent the past four decades adapting the works of Stephen King – including 2017’s The Dark Tower – for the big screen.

Based on King’s epic series of best-selling novels, this spectacular fantasy western sees the forces of good and evil collide in jaw-dropping, mind-boggling ways.

Idris Elba (Luther) plays Roland Deschain, AKA the Gunslinger, a mysterious figure on a seemingly endless quest to thwart wicked sorcerer Walter Padick (Matthew McConaughey, Interstellar), AKA the Man in Black, from toppling the Dark Tower.

What’s so important about the Dark Tower, we hear you say? Well, this imposing structure is what holds the universe together, and if the dastardly Man in Black were to get his way, it would unleash all kinds of rampant terror.

But before you have your mind blown by this awesome adaptation, how much of an expert are you when it comes to Stephen King on the big screen? Test your knowledge with our quiz…
