This summer’s tournament in Russia is just around the corner, so who should start England’s first match?

Decisions, decisions, decisions. England manager Gareth Southgate has lots of them to make before the World Cup kicks off, and the biggest one of all is his starting line-up for the team’s opening game against Tunisia on 18 June.
Fortunately for Southgate, he’s able to tweak, experiment with and fine-tune his side during their forthcoming friendlies against Nigeria at Wembley and Costa Rica at Elland Road – both of which you can watch live on ITV on Virgin TV.
There’s not long left before the big summer tournament kicks off, so it’s time to decide – who should start in goal? Who will get the nod at the back and in midfield? And what about the strikers hoping to fire the Three Lions to glory (or at least the last 16)?
