Are you a Manchester derby master?

With City and United clashing on Sky Sports Premier League, test your knowledge on their rivalry

Prepare for 90 minutes of unmissable drama, because two of English football’s fiercest foes are ready to lock horns

Manchester City v Manchester United, Saturday 7 December, 5pm, Sky Sports Premier League/HD (CH 512/502)

Forget the festivities. Put the season of goodwill on hold. There’s a Manchester derby to sort out this weekend, and you don’t have to miss a minute of it live on Sky Sports Premier League and the Sky Sports app.

The latest episode in this fascinating footballing saga – the 179th instalment, if you’re counting – finds City in desperate need of a win to keep league leaders Liverpool in their sights. Pep Guardiola’s side have not been at their sparkling best this season, but you can be absolutely sure they won’t be giving up their Premier League crown without a fight.

Manchester United versus Manchester City on Sky Sports Premier League

The omens are good for City, who head into Saturday’s match at the Etihad having had the measure of their rivals in recent times. The champions have won four of the last six Premier League clashes against United, including last season’s 3-1 triumph on home turf and a 2-0 victory at Old Trafford. Bragging rights? Right now they’re very much owned by the blue half of Manchester.

But United are no mugs when it comes to getting results at the Etihad. The Red Devils have won two of their last four visits to their noisy neighbours, with just one defeat coming in that time. And that’s just as well, because as the almighty scrap for UEFA Champions League qualification becomes more entangled each week, it’s vital Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s team don’t lose this weekend.
