Have you heard? You can now watch the best cycling, tennis, snooker, plus the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 alongside the Premier League, UEFA European club football, Premiership Rugby, MotoGP, UFC, and boxing live on TNT Sports

This incredible line-up of live sport follows the closure of Eurosport in the UK.

But don’t worry. TNT Sports will now be your single destination for live sport that includes the Australian Open and Roland-Garros tennis, Grand Tour cycling, the UCI Mountain Bike World Series, every major winter sports World Championship and World Cup event, British and World Superbikes, snooker, and Olympic Games 2026-2033.

If you’re a TNT Sports subscriber, you won’t have to do anything to continue watching your favourite sports. Just point your remote towards your TNT Sports channels.

What’s happening with Eurosport

TV sport channels Eurosport 1 HD and Eurosport 2 HD closed down in the UK and Ireland on Friday, 28 February 2025. The move was revealed in 2023 alongside the launch of the TNT Sports brand. The Eurosport channels will continue in more than 50 countries across Europe. But in the UK and Ireland, Eurosport's live and non-live sport content moved across to TNT Sports.

While the Eurosport brand continues in over 50 other countries, this transition marks a significant shift in the UK sports broadcasting landscape. TNT Sports is now the new home for Australian Open and Roland-Garros tennis, Grand Tour cycling, the UCI Mountain Bike World Series, every major winter sports World Championship and World Cup event, British and World Superbikes, snooker and the Olympic Games 2026-2032 alongside the Premier League, UEFA European club football, men’s and women’s Premiership Rugby, MotoGP, international cricket, UFC and boxing.

Where can I watch sports now?

If you’re a fan of major sports events like the Tour de France, Grand Slam tennis, or the World Snooker Championship, you can now enjoy all your favourite moments and matches previously available on Eurosport on TNT Sports. You’ll just be tuning in to a different channel.

Some sports programming, live events, and documentaries will also be available to watch on Quest HD (CH 137) – available to all Virgin Media customers with TV packages. You can also access Quest through Freeview and other major TV platforms. Virgin Media customers can use our TV channel guide to find all the channels available on their package.

So, if you’re a fan of top-tier tournaments and competitions, you won’t miss out – they’re just under the TNT Sports brand.

How does this affect me as a Virgin Media customer?

As a Virgin Media customer, the key change is that Eurosport channels are no longer included in your TV package. This means that if you previously watched major events like Roland-Garros tennis, Grand Tour cycling, or the British and World Superbikes championships on Eurosport, you can now watch them on TNT Sports instead.

TNT Sports are premium channels and are not automatically included in your TV package, so you’ll need to add them to your plan as an extra.

Find out how to add sports channels to your package and enjoy TNT Sports along with other premium options, so you won’t miss a moment of your favourite sporting action.

Do I have to pay more now?

TNT Sports are premium channels. If you’re a fan of sports content, such as the Premier League or European football, you can add TNT Sports as a channel pack for an extra monthly fee. This package includes access to TNT Sports 1 HD, TNT Sports 2 HD, TNT Sports 3 HD, TNT Sports 4 HD, and TNT Sports Ultimate UHD.

You can check out the latest offers through your Virgin Media account.

What are my options as a sports fan?

If you’re looking to keep up with the sports you used to watch on Eurosport, you can add TNT Sports directly to your Virgin Media bundle for access to major events like top-flight football, rugby union, MotoGP, and more.

Prefer streaming? Remember, you can follow all the live action on TNT Sports wherever you are in the UK, as long as there’s WiFi, 3G or 4G, thanks to Virgin TV Go. Simply download the free app, which is free to all Virgin TV customers and is compatible with Android, iOS, Windows 10, and PC/Mac. Download the  Virgin TV Go app.

For those on a budget, it's worth exploring Flex. This way, you can pick and mix your subscriptions while you enjoy your favourite sports.

Our new super-flexible TV

Why has Virgin Media removed Eurosport?

Eurosport’s owner Warner Bros Discovery wanted to create a single, premium viewing experience for sports fans by combining Eurosport and TNT Sports in the UK and Ireland. As such, Eurosport is no longer available in the UK and Ireland on any provider.

We’re committed to providing customers with the best sports content available – and we’ll continue to offer premium sports options like TNT Sports as part of our service.

Despite these changes, we aim to keep customers informed and offer flexible options to access top-tier sports programming.

Is Discovery+ included in my Virgin Media package?

Discovery+ isn’t included in Virgin Media packages – but the good news is, you don’t need it to enjoy premium sports coverage. You can add TNT Sports to your Virgin Media package and get access to all TNT Sports channels.

Even better, you can stream TNT Sports live at home or on the go with the Virgin TV Go app, at no extra cost. So there’s no need to juggle multiple apps or accounts.

Where can I find TNT Sports channels?

On Friday, 7 March, all TNT Sports channels moved to new channel numbers. There’s nothing for you to do – they were updated automatically. Your new TNT Sports channels are:

  • TNT Sports 1 HD (CH 521)

  • Eurosports 2’s old home now belongs to TNT Sports 2 HD (CH 522)

  • TNT Sports 3 HD (CH 523), which was previously Eurosport UHD.

  • TNT Sports 4 HD (CH 524)

  • TNT Sports Ultimate UHD (CH 525)

Keep track of channel number changes and find out where to watch your favourite shows, head over to our Virgin TV Channel Guide.
