As the new NFL season kicks off on new channel Sky Sports NFL, we pick out 10 stars you can expect to shape the action

By Virgin TV Edit

It’s back! The NFL is primed and ready for another season of grand sporting drama, superstar players laughing in the face of physics, and hard knocks. Lots of hard knocks.

This season (which is the league’s 101st), Sky Sports’ new dedicated NFL channel is the place where you can stay bang up to speed with everything that’s going on across the pond. That includes at least five live games every week, exclusive first-pick matches every Sunday, and every minute of the playoffs, Pro Bowl and Super Bowl.

Launching on Thursday 3 September at no extra cost to Sky Sports subscribers, Sky Sports NFL/HD (CH 517/507) will also be packed with highlights, expert analysis, documentaries and more to keep even the hardest-to-please gridiron fanatic grinning like Tom Brady on payday.

“Tonight, Matthew, I’m going to be...”

Out and about when the action is on? Then follow every touchdown, sack and backflip celebration wherever there is 3G, 4G or WiFi, thanks to the Sky Sports app.

Last year’s championship produced plenty of headlines, including a first Super Bowl triumph since 1970 for the Kansas City Chiefs, as they defeated the San Francisco 49ers in sport’s greatest spectacle. The 2020 campaign is already shaping up to be one of the most unforgettable in years – and now it’s time for the real action to begin.
