Sky Sports round-up, from Saturday 30 June
Don’t get us wrong, we love the World Cup. In fact, we can’t get enough of it. But sometimes, you need to broaden your sporting horizons.
On Sky Sports, you can do exactly that. We’re talking about the latest thrilling battle for F1 supremacy in Austria; a huge cricket final at Lord’s – and more.
Sound intriguing? You bet it does. Here, we’ve selected our top picks that you definitely don’t want to miss…
1. Royal London One-Day Cup Final 2018
Saturday 30 June, 10.30am, Sky Sports Cricket/HD (CH 514/504)
This Limited Overs Tournament started with 18 teams vying for glory. And now, it’s down to the last two. The stage is set for a fascinating (not to mention nail-biting) clash between Kent and Hampshire amid the sporting splendour of Lord’s, but who will seize the day and get their hands on the cup? Tune in to find out.
2. Catalans Dragons v Castleford Tigers

Saturday 30 June, 4.55pm, Sky Sports Action/HD (CH 517/507)
It wouldn’t be a cracking weekend on Sky Sports without some hard-hitting action from the Betfred Super League. This must-watch encounter sees playoff-chasing Castleford travelling to France to take on the struggling Dragons. And with time running out in the regular season, points are crucial for both clubs and their contrasting ambitions.
3. 2018 Formula One Austrian Grand Prix

Sunday 1 July, 2.10pm, Sky Sports F1®/HD (CH 516/506)
The F1 action keeps on coming on Sky Sports, which is the only place to watch every race live this season. Despite setting a new lap record in practice at Spielberg’s Red Bull Ring last year, Lewis Hamilton had to settle for a fourth-placed finish. Will the Brit make it to the podium this time? The likes of Daniel Ricciardo, Sebastian Vettel and Valtteri Bottas may have something to say about that.
4. Atlanta United FC v Orlando City SC

Monday 2 July, midnight, Sky Sports Football/HD (CH 513/503)
There might be one football competition dominating the headlines this summer (spoiler alert: it’s the World Cup), but did you know that there’s also a feast of live Major League Soccer (MLS) games to enjoy on Sky Sports? Here, Eastern Conference pace-setters Atlanta welcome play-off hopefuls Orlando to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Bring it on!
