Scottish football is properly kicking off!

The most unpredictable season for years continues with four huge games live on BT Sport this week

Tune in to the Betfred Cup semi-finals and two major clashes in the Ladbrokes Premiership

From Sunday 28 October, BT Sport

Think you know Scottish football? Think again. With Celtic struggling for consistency, Hearts and Hibernian making waves, and Rangers gaining some swagger under new manager Steven Gerrard, the 2018-19 season is proving to be one of the most surprising campaigns in a long, long time.

And this week you can find out what’s going to happen next, with four huge matches from the Betfred Cup and Ladbrokes Premiership live on BT Sport.

It all kicks off on Sunday with the semi-finals of the Betfred Cup. Holders Celtic go head to head with Hearts at Murrayfield in the first of these titanic encounters, before Rangers – who have won the tournament a record 27 times – meet Aberdeen at Hampden Park later in the day in another colossal clash.

Once the dust has settled on those ties, attention turns to the Ladbrokes Premiership. And with two matches on the box this Wednesday, it’s a bumper night of action from Scotland’s top tier.

Celtic’s shaky title defence continues as they travel to Dundee, who are struggling for form but could give Brendan Rodgers’ inconsistent champions a Halloween scare at Dens Park. Meanwhile, Hearts and Hibernian square off in the Edinburgh derby. This showdown between local rivals is usually a feisty affair, but there’s even more on the line this week with both clubs having enjoyed stellar league campaigns so far.

There’s a huge amount of buzz around Scottish football this season. It’s 34 years since the league title went to someone other than the big two Glasgow clubs – could this be the year that finally changes? Follow all of the latest twists and turns with four unmissable matches this week on BT Sport.
