Get ready for The Masters

The jewel in golf’s crown is about to tee off, live and exclusive on Sky Sports Masters

By Virgin TV Edit

Forget just golf tournaments. When it comes to grand sporting occasions of any shape or size, The Masters is right up there with the very best of them.

From the historic charm of Augusta National to the iconic Green Jacket bestowed upon the winner, there really is nothing like it. And now, after a delay of seven months, the 2020 edition of golf’s greatest major is ready to tee off.

The whole of this year’s tournament (which will be played without fans in attendance) is exclusively live on Sky Sports Masters, with every drive, chip, putt and fist-pumping celebration also available to watch on the go with the Sky Sports app.

Tiger Woods

The much-anticipated 2020 Masters is part of what the PGA Tour is calling a “super season”. What does that mean? As the sport catches up with the disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic, it means a whopping 50 tournaments will be held during the 2020-21 campaign – including six majors. If you like golf, this is the jackpot.

Last year’s Masters was one of the most memorable ever seen, as Tiger Woods defied the odds to get his hands on a fifth Green Jacket and first major victory since 2008.

Will Tiger roar to another improbable triumph this time around? Or will we see another king of the swingers crowned? With the likes of Dustin Johnson, Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy and 2020 PGA Championship winner Collin Morikawa all hungry for victory, expect four days of top drama from Augusta.

The 2020 Masters is upon us, but before you tune in to the action live and exclusive on Sky Sports Masters and the Sky Sports app, get the lowdown on this prestigious competition’s history with these Big Numbers…

When is The Masters on TV?

Live coverage of the first round of The Masters 2020 gets underway at 12.30pm on Thursday 12 November on Sky Sports Masters/HD (CH 515/505).
