Staying active has never been more important. And now, with this cracking channel, featuring sessions led by Olympic gold medallists and some of the fitness game’s best experts, it’s never been easier, either!

 

Get Moving (CH 997) is designed to help you get moving, grooving, shaking and baking (in a a strictly athletic sense… not literally, unfortunately) and everything in between. You can also watch when you like in On Demand > Box Sets > Get Moving!

Relaxing morning yoga sessions, daily workouts with none other than Daley Thompson (see what they did there?) and so much more await. Itching to get going? Simply read on below to find out about each workout, when it’s on, and how you (yes, you) can get involved…

 

Yoga

From 6.40am, 10.15am and 2.45pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday

With these slow, relaxing, half-hour sessions, every early morning, lunchtime or early evening can be a haven of quiet, stretch-filled nirvana… just be careful not to get too relaxed, if you know what we mean (zzzzzzz…).

 

Fitness

From 7.15am, 9am, 12.30pm, 1.15pm and 5:15pm every weekday

Prepare to get a serious sweat on with this one, as one of the expert instructors takes you through short, intense, burst-like workouts that are a brilliant mix of cardio and strength.

 

Join ex-army guy and all-round fitness nut Stuart Amory on Mondays and Thursdays for his brand new “Get Fit With Stu” class; Sana “The Motivation Girl” Shirvani on Tuesdays and Fridays for her “Sweat With Sana” sessions (might want to remember a towel for that one), and Ross “The Dad Bod Sports Guy” Hanbury every Wednesday for workouts that are guaranteed to get you moving and are perfect for a multitude of abilities.

 

Kids HIIT

From 8.30am, 12pm and 4.45pm every Friday

If your kids are pressed for time betwen online classes and virtual meet-ups with their mates, then these short, sharp, high-intensity interval training classes geared for young’uns are the perfect workout.  

 

PE

From 8.45am and 2pm every weekday

Hosted by Go! Go! Go! member and Nickelodeon presenter Mr Move It! (aka lovable family fitness fanatic Carl Tracey) these PE sessions are a family friendly funfest of fitness, as he guides you through sessions everyone can get involved with.

 

Strength

Full Body from 8am and 1.15pm Thursday

Bodyweight Training from 7.15am and 12.30pm Friday

These strength specific workouts do exactly what they say on the tin. Namely, get you working muscles that haven’t stretched in years and looking (and feeling) beefier than you’ve felt for some time. "What’re these up my sleeves? Oh, just my pythons..."

 

Body Conditioning

From 8am, 11.30am and 4.15pm every Friday

If it’s a thorough, MOT-esque full body workout you’re looking for, then look no further than these brand new, conditioning-specific classes that tweak, refine and, well, condition your whole bod at once. 

 

“Daley” Fitness

From 8am, 1.15pm and 4.15pm every weekday

Who better to host a daily workout, you ask? Why, none other than two-time Olympic gold medallist Daley Thompson, of course? Indeed – arguably the greatest decathlete of all time is on hand to provide you with a daily, easy to follow workout that is guaranteed to get you moving and shaking.

 

And with brand new classes like Bootcamp, Old School Circuits, Yoga and Pilates, there's no shortage of new routines to shake things up and ensure no two classes are ever the same.
