But what if you can’t get a signal in part of your home? Well, you might have a WiFi blackspot. Want to be sure? Download the Virgin Media Connect app to scan the area to discover what’s getting in the way of your WiFi and chat with an agent about any issues.
Still having problems? You might need an intelligent WiFi Booster to give your signal, well, a boost. Using your home’s electrical wiring, these plug-in pals can help you tackle your WiFi niggles, so you can enjoy glorious internet all around your home.

As explained in the video, all you need to do to get your hands on an intelligent WiFi Booster is use the Connect app home scan feature. If it reveals you have a WiFi blackspot, you’ll be able to order your Booster straight in the app.
And that’s not all – if you’re a Virgin Fibre customer with Maxit TV, you can get an intelligent WiFi Booster to use at no extra cost. WiFi Boosters cost £3 extra per month for all other broadband customers who need one.

WiFi Booster: Eligible customers only whom Virgin Media (VM) has identified (via a VM agent or the Virgin Media Connect app) a blackspot inside the registered account address. Eligible customers can receive 1 WiFi Booster per customer, available via the app. Eligible customers can receive a 2nd Booster by contacting our service agents. A 3rd Booster will only be issued after a site visit & is dependent on agent assessment.
